this one: Cannot Release Lock on SharePoint Online File. We hope Microsoft will release a fix for it soon. This is a known SharePoint issue and there are many articles about this issue, e.g.

This process takes 2 secs but some people forget and stay in it over lunch etc causing a great annoyance.
Solution/workaround, when the other user is you file locked for editing, can I kick the other user out if its my file I have made an excel file where other people have to go in and update it. SharePoint will sooner or later release this lock, so if you have patience, just wait for a few minutes.
It normally happens when you close a document and the Office application does not release the information that the document is open for editing. This can however happen even if you don’t have the document open in another application. If so, close this application and try again. It could be because you have the document open for editing in another application. In some situations, this can however occur when the “other user” is you. This is an expected behavior and before you can edit the document, the other user first needs to release it/check it in. On a Windows menu, click on Tools > Folder Options. In control panel, delete stored credentials for Office 365.Click on “Check out”, then immediately go back and click on “Check in”.Ask them to launch Excel and click on File > Info > Manage Workbook.Ask them to launch Excel and open the file then close it.Determine which user account is reporting as having the file locked.This should allow SharePoint to release the lock. I saw this in Word live collaboration only last week but it also occurs in Excel.
